A cruel deception only to those who believed in the first place. My gut instinct is to tell these guys to go get themselves a nice, hot bowl of crybaby soup and shut the f–k up. But these kinds of articles are chock full of so much shadenfreude, that they are too good to let pass unnoticed.

The BBC reports of Barack Obama’s speech last night are about as derisive as it would be possible to be about someone you were describing only a few months ago as the incarnation of Hope and Optimism. Yes indeed, the romance is over. The British media have decided that it was all a cruel deception: Obama is just one more ranting populist president who will do anything to divert attention from his own failure to get a grip.
When you see HuffPo and MSNBC joining the pig pile after last night’s speech, you have to wonder, is the The One even capable of turning things around? After all, would it be all that surprising that the most unqualified person to ever hold the presidency craters badly in the first 18 months on the job and never recovers?
