Another triumph for Marxist Hope and Change, Venezuelan dictator and Hollywood idol Hugo Chavez is now looting warehouses to confiscate food as his scheme of nationalizing supermarkets and confiscating farms proves about as successful as Robby Mugabe's policies of doing the same.
Venezuelan army soldiers swept through the working class, pro-Chavez neighborhood of Catia in Caracas last week, seizing 120 tons of rice along with coffee and powdered milk that officials said was to be sold above regulated prices.

You see Obama's BFF had to regulate prices because he thought, at some point, grocers were making enough money. And he just wanted to spread the wealth around.

But, of course, the only reason socialism has never worked is because the right people have never been in charge.

I guess we better just hope that Hugo's BFF Barack Obama has put better people in charge of running our economy than he put in charge of cleaning up the oil spill.
