An article title caught my attention:  ”Why the Hell are we allied with Israel? The Sequel.”  Although the article is only a few hours old as I write, it still describes the Gaza Blockade Run as a crime by Israel, a conclusion that is ill-informed and uninformed.  But the title was cute, so I’ll take the bait and explain.

The US House acted decisively to support the Israel. It also called out the UN as biased. Pretty strong language, and the overwhelming majority sends a rather direct message to Obama and his anti-Israel advisers.

As Scott wrote this morning, Benjamin Netanyahu returned today to the prime ministership of Israel. Netanyahu worked feverishly to put together a broad coalition, and in the end was able to bring in the left-wing Labor party.
