Latest YouCut proposals from Rep. Cantor’s office

WASHINGTON D.C. — Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) and the House Republican Economic Recovery Working Group today announced a new round of YouCut proposals for the public to vote on. So far, more than 860,000 votes have been cast. As they’ve done every week since the project’s launch, House Republicans will bring the winning cut to the floor next week for a vote.

Breaking: Democrat Rep. John Murtha Dies

This is just breaking from Fox News:

Pennsylvania Democratic Rep. John Murtha, the first veteran of the Vietnam war and one of the most powerful lawmakers in Congress, died Wednesday morning at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, after complications from gallbladder surgery. Murtha was 77.

I'm very sorry for his family's loss. I'm sure they loved him and will miss him.
